'06 Infiniti FX

With some changes to the features that are standard the 2006 Infiniti FX is a great buy. The car type Sports Utility Vehicle is a standard 5-seater and comes in two trims the FX35 and the FX45. The FX35 has a V6 engine that pumps out 280 horsepower and can be had with rear or all-wheel drive. The FX45 is fitted with a V8 engine and pushes out 320 horsepower and is all-wheel drive. The two trims have 5-speed automatic transmissions.

To aid in it excellent handling and performance the 2006 Infiniti FX comes with anti-lock braking system, traction and anti skid control. There are curtain airbags and front side airbags. The 2006 Infiniti FX also has a Lane Departure Warning system as an option along with a navigation system.

Leather upholstery comes standard with both trims and so is driver seat memory. The FX also comes with a rearview camera as standard.

'05 Infiniti FX

The 2005 Infiniti FX comes well packed with many features that intertwines luxury with a sporty look. The interior upholstery is done in leather and matches well with the trim. The seats at the front of the FX can be adjusted and are power controlled.

One feature that is liked is that the rear seats can be reclined. High Intensity Discharge headlights, a sweet 6 disc player that can also play MP3’s, are all a part of the standard package.

There are special features options available to consumers including the Touring Package that includes power tilt/telescope steering wheel, a memory system, steering wheel radio controls and much more. Another optional package is the Premium Package which includes amongst other things power sun roof and automatic headlights.

The 2005 Infiniti FX comes powered by a 3.5 litre V6 engine that gives 275 horsepower and is a good bang for every buck. It comes with a 5-speed automatic transmission but rear-wheel and all-wheel drive options are available.

2006 Infiniti FX

The 2006 Infiniti FX sports a new facelift for this year’s model lineup with a refreshed exterior along with a restyled interior for added luxury. A variety of new features have been made standard this year, including: A premium audio system, rearview monitoring system, 7” color-display, Advanced Airbag Restraint Systems and leather seating with frontal-heated-seats.

The 2006 Infiniti FX series FX45 counterpart received 20” premium wheels, standard leather seating, improved sport-tuned four-wheel-independent suspension with new dampers along with updated cosmetics on the taillights and bumpers.

Fuel economy for the FX35 has been rated at an EPA-estimated 17mpg around the city and 23mpg on the highway while the FX45 attains an EPA-estimated 15mpg around the city and 19mpg on the highway.

2005 Infiniti FX

The 2005 Infiniti FX is the mid-size crossover sport utility vehicle from Infiniti that combines elegant luxury with sports-car performance to mesh together in a one-of-a-kind vehicle unlike any other.

The engine choice used in the 2005 Infiniti FX is either a 3.5L V-6 in the FX35 producing 280HP and 270FTLB of torque or the massive 4.5L V-8 in the FX45 that produces 315HP and 329FTLB of torque.

The FX35 is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission on either a rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive platform while the FX45 couples the same 5-speed automatic transmission with the standard all-wheel-drive platform.

Both engines feature Dual-Over-Head-Camshafts with Variable Valve Timing for improved efficiency.
